Everytime I go home to visit my mother, I try to go and see Luna and her friends. The best trip was when I visited with my granddaughter. She loved visiting Luna and, of course, she just had to have the stuffed animal from the gift shop!

We live very close to the wildlife center, happened across it by accident while my son and I were exploring the area. This place is amazing and we visit several times a week. I definitely suggest visiting to anyone coming to the area.

As an animal lover this place makes my heart feel good! It's good to see kind hearted folks taking care of these amazing animals. It's a great place to go and get up close to the wildlife you see daily in southwest Florida and learn about them.

We visited the center on March 20, 2017. We enjoyed seeing all of the different birds. Well worth the time to see. Thank you for doing what you do.

A heart-stirring place to visit. Admission is FREE, 7 days a week, year around, 11AM-4PM. Feathered friends and some small animals are admitted to the center to receive rehabilitating care with the hope of future release back to the wild. Of special note, is one leucistic White Screech Owl, an albino by any other name, which is rare for this species. The red shouldered hawks, bald eagle, eastern brown pelicans, blue jay, spoonbills, egrets, other owl species and a host of other birds in recovery, including several different types of sea birds, laughing gulls - fun to hear, mockingbirds and other birds. The gift shop and donations are their means of support - they receive no govt. funding, they need volunteers if you are local, call them at 941-637-3830. My family and I love this place, we chipped in to leave a $40 donation. Please help them if you can in some way.

We always enjoy our trips to the PRWC to see the birds and other animals. We miss the pelican feedings tho! We always take our friends and family when they come to visit.
